Where does AAGSOM meet?


We meet every third Saturday at Villard Library. Business meeting at 1:30 pm for members only, open to public at 2:30 pm.




What are the annual dues to become a member of AAGSOM?


Member fees are as follows: Individual $12, Family (2) $20, Lifetime (1-time only) $150 and Lifetime Family (2) $200. Dues are payble October 1 each year if annual.




Can I attend a meeting if I'm not a member?


Yes, our second hour is open to the general public and offers topics to assist in your research.




What are the benefits of joining?


Working with others that are interested in genealogy, workshops, assistance from other members. Take a look at our Membership Benefits page.




What happens at your meetings?


The first hour is our business meeting attended by members only. The second hour is open to general public. View our Events page for the current month's topic.




How can you help me if I don't live in the area?


If you are a member, there are various resources on our member only pages. In addition, you can see if other members are researching the same locations and reach out to them via email.




Where can I find out more?


Come to the second hour of our monthly meetings, and talk to the Membership Committee members.




How can I find out if a meeting or program has been changed?


Visit our "event" page to confirm meeting dates or programs. We will also indicate if the meeting has been cancelled on this page. Cancellations will be posted to our "announcement" page. Watch WITI Storm Center for closings due to weather.
